The Number 3 Myths About Exercising




If you're trying to get back in shape, then it's very important to know the fitness facts from the fictions. Below are some of the most frequent cardio myths that you should take into consideration.
Myth number one:
Wearing weights during cardio can help you to burn more fat! This is always a common false impression that you should wear a 2 pound weights around your wrists and ankles whenever you are doing cardio exercises because it helps to burn more calories. NOT TRUE!
Unfortunately, this can only lead to more injuriesand throw off your form. However, they aren’t even heavy enough to make much of a difference during your workouts anyways.
Myths number two:
They say that doing only 10 minutes of cardio is not enough to burn calories and if that’s the case you are just wasting your time. This is NOT true either! If you only do 10 minutes of cardio it will help to burn off fat and it’s better than not doing anything. Every little exercise you do still counts for something.
Besides you’ll still be able to burn more calories than doing no exercise at all. It doesn’t really matter how long or short you do your exercises as long as you do something and it’s never a wasteof time doing 10 0r 12 minutes of exercising on your part.
Myths number three:
All women should only do cardio and stay away from strength training. Don’t you believe that nonsense! When you are trying to tone and shape your body strength training is the key. However, it’s very tough to get your body toned and lean without doing some strength training exercises.
Doing weight lifting on a regular basis not only help to get rid of excessive amount of unwanted fat but it also helps to boost your metabolism and reduce the risk of ever getting osteoporosis in the process. So, for the best results do some weight lifting, cardio and any type or form of exercises that you possibly can.
